Friday night Chase and I decorated the house. Chase put up the tree while I put out everything else, we had Elf on the TV and I baked some cookies. It was fun 🙂 Here’s a few crappy cell phone pics.
Not a lot new on the tree this year. Nothing geeky (didn’t see any we had to have from Hallmark this year) – we just picked a few cute things from Target. we got a little lion, a penguin, and one that looks like a picture frame with a dog wearing a suit in it.
The mantle:

And one day Chase will get the picture to put over our mantle!
Yesterday Ash and I went shopping. We were out all day, and while I didn’t get ALL my shopping done, I got all of Chase’s done, so I’m really happy about that. Also got wrapping paper and tags and a few more decorations.
I did pick up a new stocking for myself. The first year we were in the apartment, we got a matching pair of stockings – but they’ve disappeared. Chase had another we were able to put up for him, but I didn’t have one, so I got this cute Owl one:
